Chicken Keeping Workshop- March 18 & 19, 2025

DON’T MISS OUT ON THIS GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN THE ABC’S OF CHICKEN RAISING AND BEYOND!  

AM and PM session more specifics to be announced . Participants will learn the basics and beyond of flock ownership!  This workshop will cover flock selection, housing & coop needs, the basics of chicken husbandry including day to day care, seasonal care , nutrition, organic preventative care, common illnesses and cures, first aid and so much more! 

Small group sizes and one on one interaction allows for a more in depth, personalized workshop. 

Finish the day with hands on learning as each participant is given their own chicken for which becomes their learning buddy!!  You will get to know the parts of your chicken, how to properly hold, sooth, administer medications and the various body parts.

At the end of the workshop, each participant will leave with a Chicken Keeping Flock Certification (recognized by 23 municipalities as required for permits) a plethora of reference materials, coupons and one year chicken expert advise.

Lunch will be included in the cost of the workshop
