Flock Care & Maintenance

Good husbandry is paramount for the health and wellbeing of your flock.  Each Spring and Autumn, a good seasonal maintenance program should be followed. 

This maintenance includes:

• Deworming (both topical and internal)
• Trimming nails
• Applying waxeline to feet, combs and wattles for the prevention of “scaley” leg mites
• Ear cleaning
• Beak trimming if required
• Spur trimming on Roosters
• Vitamin administration for seasonal boost

Cost includes farm visit, maintenance of each bird and detailed notes about each flock member.
